Default Estimate of value to sell..?

Hey guys... my bike is killing me with the upkeep and its causing a huge strain on my family as I have to keep repairing this and that... agghh!!

I just want to offload it.. so heres the rundown of stuff for sale..

93 CBR F2 streetfighter-style with clear title, replacement engine in there currently, unknown miles.. I got her running yesterday and rode her to work but after, she woudn't start up again... she almost catches and runs but not quite.. anyhoo.. got fed up with it and here I am.. so.. at least I know the motor and everything else is good.. has a f4i rear shock with resi, 5.5" 900rr rear rim and new Avon tires on. ducati monster seat, gsxr 750 reg/rect.

I have the original headlight and instruments in great condition, plastics in ok condition..

and I have my original f2 engine thats now a spare (somewhat apart as I was going to rebuild it but now thats scrapped) has around 25k miles, cylinder #3 has some surface rust in there but nothing a hone-job won't take care of. has crack in lower crank-case from a spill.. its small enough I was going to have it welded back together.

I'm thinking I won't get more than a thousand for the bike alone.. if that.. but I just have no idea of what to ask for the whole lot.. I don't really want the hassle of parting it out as that takes some time and I don't want to go down that route but I will if I have to. I just want to get it off my hands..

Anyway.. any help as to how much I should ask for all of it?

Kaz

Pics of bike in current condition would help - but unless it is a spectacularly clean Streetfighter build (along the lines of knifemaker87's) than I wouldn't expect much for it - $900-1600 maybe(including all the spare parts you mentioned)? gotta remember you're trying to sell a bike with issues and isn't running. I wouldn't give more than $800 personally for any F2 that doesn't have moderately ok plastics (at least included in the deal like you said) and isn't running.

To you, you built a bike you wanted, but to others it may not be what they're looking for.

for comparison, right now I can drive 3 hours and pick up a ~20K mile F2, was disassembled to become a track bike, but the owner decided to go a diff direction. Motor, trans are good, and all the bike needs is reassembly and front plastics. $500. Needs a title - but that's pretty easy to do at that price.

You'll be lucky to get $1000 for the whole lot.
