In a high performance engine, even if compared to newer 600's its only relatively high performance, I believe in quality over cheapo parts. BTW, DONT buy Champion plugs, just so ya know, they suck in bikes.

NGK are ordered and I will pick them up tomorrow.... $5.49 a piece...

Yeah, if you think thats bad, price out some plugs for a brand new bike. $36 is hella cheap.

So Autolites are garbage huh? Mine had em in it when I got it, and they were new, still look new, only got maybe about 3000 miles on em. If I change em, will my time go down at the dragstrip, that's what I wanna know..... [8D]

Why would your time go down? I would think it would be the same? Unless the plug ran hotter or something..

think he was being sarcastic, anyway iam an ngk man for one reason of the 3 sportbikes and numerous cars,4 wheelers and dirtbikes ive had nothing holds up to the heat better than an ngk.

Thats what I put in there...and glad I did....the old plugs were also NGK, but the first one was gapped at 19 the rest were at about 34...I did them all at 35.

i think i have the cheaper parts store plugs in my bike....
what would be the difference in the plugs.. i mean what will i see or notice ... performance? gas mileage?
