Hey guys,
Just opened up the old airbox to change the filter, the previous owner had just rebuilt the engine for racing and done all that stuff so I have been riding for about 5000kms since purchase without looking in the airbox.
I noticed that the two vents into the box had their tubes taped to cover the section that is cut out facing the filter.
Anyone know why this would be, I have removed the tape and throttle response is up, that could be due to the K&N I put in though, any thoughts as to why anyone would do this?

That is wierd, mine was taped to, but didn't ahve any filter at all inside. I really got to get one of those one of these days.......
