Default Air box / air ram routing

When I picked up my F2 in the box of extra parts was the air ram box. But its for an F3 I think. The bike has full 97-98 fairing by the way.

So I want to connect the ram air box to the air box, but I don't see how. The air box lid has two air tunnel tubes that turn down behind the V of the frame and go nowhere.

I have been checking google images and the exploded view on bike bandit.com, but I have no idea how connect the ram still.

Does anyone know? Or have photos.

This is what it looks like.

I can't see how this is meant to fit. The Ram-Air get-up of the F3 is a totally different system to the F2. You'd probably need to re-jet too. My guess is the guy bought it intending to fit it and gave up because it was too tricky. Your F2 based bike is designed not to have the ram-air.

(One bodge I've been told about mind, is that if you saw off the 90 degree snorkels from the F2 airbox, you get a bit more throttle response..)

dont do that your bike has no ram air and is not meant to have it. if you cut your snorkels your bike will run like **** same reason why kn filters steal power........f3,s have a fuel pump, bigger pilots and 2 different jet sizes. their built to run ram air. only way to make it work is f3 carbs and (if not a fuel pump) some way of getting enough gas to the carbs.(jerry rig)

Oh ok the snorkles almost looked lime something else was supposted to go onto them. I never knew the F2 never had an air ram. Kinda crappy how it picks up the air above the header and from behind the radiator.

it would seem so but higher air volume does bad things to these bikes. thats why kn says flows 50% better than stock yet has no corresponding hp numbers. what i meant was dont cut the snorkels kurtz.
