Default Aftermarket CCT or oem

Ive been searching around the forum and come to the realization that my cct has gone bad. The more i read i see that some people are saying that the manual ones are bad and can do more damage then good if installed wrong(im a bodyman with basic mechanical skills). With that said would it be worth me spending the extra $20 on the oem or am i looking to deep in it and i should just get the aftermarket CCT

Go with the APE manual tensioner... you CANT install it wrong...

Just follow the directions, and take your time (15 minutes).

OEM's are ****, and sometimes don't even work

Go with the APE. I put a brand new OEM one on primed it, installed and it didnt make a difference. Put the APE on, problem gone.
