Default Adjusting for low altitude

i recently purchased a 1992 cbr 600 f2 from a friend back home in south lake tahoe. he had the pilot screws adjusted for high altitiude, and i was wondering where i could get a pilot screw wrench to adjust the pilots myself. i now currently live at about sea-level. i ordered the pilot screw tool from motion pro, but turns out it doesn't have the correct tip. any help??? also- how can i go about figuring out if i have a 49 state or CA model? thanks everyone.

Default RE: Adjusting for low altitude

About the Ca model, take the VIN number off the bike, and run down to your local Honda dealer, have them run the numbers, they should be able to tell ya quick if you have the CA model or not, But off the top of my head Ide say you have the 49 state version, UNLESS your friend can tell you if he bought it out of Cali....and on the Pilot screws.....Again i would have the dealer set them for your altitude, that way you will not have any problems from the machine...A lil money now saves alot of headaches later..
