Default high altitude

I live at 7000ft. and ride as high as 9000 ft. I have an '04 with hot bodies, power commander, and k&n's but it really is a lot slower than at sea level. I hear 3% loss for every 1000ft. any suggestions?

k&n and hotbodies ... two mods which render a perfectly normal 1000rr into a non-performing POS

well k&n's are known to rob 1000rr's of their horsepower ... you'd be better off with the stock filter instead
personally i prefer BMC race filters with my poor man intake

for the exhaust, you get what you pay for ... look into Arata, Sato, Akrapovic & my favorite Hamaguchi
