I just replaced one cluster bulb today, I didn't have to disconnect the speedo at all. It lifts up just enough to reach behind and pull the bulb out...

 

Did you just buy the single LED bulb?

I wonder how much brighter the 6 LED model would be?! Or maybe that would be too bright and create glare - negatively effecting night vision.

I am not too concerned about spending a few extra bucks on something that I will likely never change again .

 

just the singles for me - I think I got the wide pattern. I didn't want bling, I just wanted the factory equivalent in a LED bulb.
