ok guys, 03 cbr 600rr, i bought...was down and needed a motor..put a motor in it, started her up and i was very happy i didnt get screwed on the motor i bought on ebay, BUT the red light on the dash blinks, it blinks then stops for a brief sec. then blinks again..then goes off for a few seconds and repeats, while at the same time the F1 light is on and does no blinking, im not in a hurry to blow up my motor i just put in it...any idea whats going on, it seems to run good but i havnt got to go anywhere with it.

 

sounds like a code to me. Buy the clymer manual and read what they mean. Then whatever is wrong, the manual will tell you how to fix it.
