Top triple clamp is now polished - tomorrow I'll get a lot more items put on the bike.

Thank you sirs... I'm getting very excited about this project! And that's not just because I haven't had a street ride on over 2 months, though I am quite itchy to hit the road again!

Unfortunately, I will need to wait at least two weeks, if not a full month, before ordering the plastics, and of course, then it will be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, or more, before they arrive.

When they do arrive, you will see!! Don't get me wrong, it's not going to be anything "mind-blowing", or whatever, I'm just not ready to say yet, and truthfully, I'm still "on the fence" about my choice anyway!

I got a little bit of work done yesterday, starting with mounting the polished OEM rearsets, and the rear master cylinder and reservoir.

I mounted the polished top triple clamp, along with the clip-ons, master cylinder, switchgear/throttle, grips, and levers.

I re-mounted the carbs, connected the choke and throttle cables, and put on the air cleaner base - I didn't continue with the air box, as I needed to let the UNI filter dry from it's cleaning, before oiling and installing.

OK, after seeing how yours turned out I may have to polish my rear sets. I actually have to change my brake side out seeing as how they are slightly bent... Course hell I may try straightening them haha. either way looking good

Thanks Gary.
They do straighten out pretty decent, by the way - one of the ones that was on this bike was bent, when I got it, and I was able to straighten it out without issue - the kick plate was bent-in to almost touching the swingarm, if I remember correctly!

Sheesh. Those rearsets look better then I was expecting as well. I'm more of a black guy myself but they came out great. Excited to see what the plastics look like.
