Quick note - your clip on your masterlink is installed backwards. If you decided to use a non-riveted ML - the closed end of the clip is supposed to point the direction of movement, to keep the possibility of inertia or contact with a sprocket cover/chain guard,/road debris from popping the clip off the ML.

Ok, done what I can with the tissues (keyboards still sticky though!).

I noticed it lookes like you finalized the under-belly panels, was hoping for another full-profile pic. ;-)

Thanks for the entertainment, Ern
hey! thanks so much, i am glad you have "enjoyed" it. my wife is not always so please with how maniacal i am somtimes... lol
the shroud panels are still temporary. they will be getting some curvature and bending and venting before i replicate them in carbon fiber, but they are done for now so i can ride it

i do want to locate a stock F2 in the area so i can get some pictures with it, you know, stock vs. custom, so if you know of a local F2 owner... let me know.

I also got some "in context" pictures of the new rearsets.

Should we start a poll thread on, "what obscure detail chris will remake/mill from scratch next into a museum quality art-form?'.

I'm going to vote for the knurls on the clutch cable adjusters (if you don't just replace it with a custom built hydralic set-up). ;-) lol

Chris, You should contact Eric Buell about a job. See page 24 in the latest (July 2011 Motor Cyclist)

Man alive!!! What a beautiful build! I've gotta ask though, are you really happy with the exhaust shrouds? They look fine, but just not quite to the finish levels of everything else that you've been turning out. They definitely don't detract from any of the amazing work that you've done thought. Not in the slightest. Again, FANTASTIC BUILD!

thanks dude!
and no.. i am not happy. they are a hack job to keep the exhuast from looking too funky. i need to finish my flyscreen bracket (titanium is a real pain) mount the front fender and then the shrouds will be getting bent, vented and made into carbon fiber.

Very cool. I'm glad to hear that they're getting the same love and care. Sorry if you'd already outlined that earlier in your thread. I got to the point that I was checking out your photos more than your text at times.
