1994 f2 problems
I spent all yesterday syncing the carbs and finally got them, this bike has been a problem since we got it from my best friends mom, at first it wouldnt start at all no fuel. We fixed that and unclogged the nipples on the gas tank and the previous owner to his mom bypassed the fuel filter I believe, so where the two rubber hoses meet the fuel line it goes directly to the petcock and the left carb vacuum line also goes to the petcock. we had it running and went on a few long trips then all of a sudden on the highway it started to bog under throttle. So like the start of this I synced the carbs and it started and sounded great.
we put it all back together and now it wont even start it doesnt sound like its getting fuel at all I checked the fuel line to make sure it is not kinked and the vacuum line is connected and I'm pretty much out of all ideas at this point. Any help would be amazing.

Your best bet is a good, meaning very very good, cleaning of the carbs. As you take them apart for cleaning, make sure you ID your jets, both the idle/slow jets and the mains. Also, change the plugs, air filter, and the oil. If the bike was sitting for a long time, clean the tank as well. Been there, done that.
