I'm working on a 93 cbr f2 and it will not start all it wants to do is pop and bang out of the carbs and back fire out the pipe shoot awesome fire ***** tho any help would be great thank you

 

Sup chap, just had the same prob,

New fuel (if its old)

Check fuel runs free from carb drains (flat head screws on the side at the bottom of each)

new plugs (well worth a try)

also check plug leads are in right order!

this lot should do you!

ps sorry if any of this sounded obvious.

 

How far have you dug into the engine, if at all? I agree with checking plugs and firing order. The popping back through the carbs is what throws me off a bit. Is it a new bike to you? If so, may be worth the effort to check valves and timing. But like the previous post, fuel loading up will cause a similar issue, so check the carbs also
