what do you guys think . i still have a long way to go ie power coat the frame and wheels and engine black . make new oil lines to oil cooler . ive had my cane for three years but this was the first year i manage to get it together .
i payed£ 100 for it as my friend was penny less and he needed the space so i snatched his hands of for it .
but it wasnt all there meny parts were lost or used on something else .
so it was a challenge to get all the parts nd of course it had to be ebay .
as the fairings are realy hard to find for these old girls so i chose to streetfighter it .
i have managed to go this far with it and only spend a total of £450 with still about £200 to spend on powercoating oh and £130 for a new set of rubbers witch will be 110/70 17 front . 140/70 17 rear .

nice job, what tail is that from? f3, 900?

ive spent about 3 years working on mine and i still have quite a bit to go, full front plastic/gauge/light swap. ive put off paiting/pcing the frame though, that seems like too much work. prob just going to sand the bad parts and spray over them.

 

the tail is of a cbr 600 95 race bike because i like to feel what the rear tyre is doing . i have just bought a cbr 400 rrj tri arm as i beleave most parts will interchange like front forks and rear swing arm witch have 120 front tyre and rear tyre of 160 pluss the brakes are better its going to be fun the next few weeks seeing if they fit if not i will have a little track bike

 

ive been looking in to the swops on most parts and the best swop will be putting my 600 engine into the 400 frame . so soon ill need to make some room after ive taken the engine and a few more parts of the 600 . and the rest will be sold. im in the uk any intres let me know . or they will go on ebay .

 

I'll go for the rear shock if I dont do the F2 swinger conversion and such.

 

If the forks are good (no pit, bends) Let me know what your asking? I'm Bolton/Manchester way.

 

will let you guys know in a few weeks all parts are good . raer shock has lost its damperning sorry . i know how hard good ones are to find its one of the reasons im doing it .
