Thermostatic switch and start relay questions
1) Thermostatic switch has apparently gone bad. Previous owner put switch on dashboard and bypassed TSS completely to make it a manually controlled fan. There are new switches listed on ebay with free shipping and a starting bid of 0.99. That makes me nervous. Any idea what a reasonable price is and where the best place to buy might be?
2) Start relay. Previous owner wired directly from the battery positive to the red ignition switch wire up in front of the tank. They also removed the 30 A fuse from the relay. The bike runs fine but I am trying to clean up the wiring and fix it properly. I removed the wire and reinstalled the fuse, just to see what would happen. The bike did not seem to want to start but the battery ran down fairly quickly so I don't know if that is really a symptom. The fuse did not blow. Any idea if this would be a symptom of a failed starter relay switch? I see that there is a troubleshooting section in the manual on this switch which I haven't done yet, so next step will be to run through the three steps listed on page 19-8 in the manual.
Thanks in advance.

Thermostatic fan switch 37760-MT2-003
Apparently same as F2 models and readily available on Amazon. Watch out though. One seller promises that it will be delivered by September 18. Not super helpful.
Update: I'm starting to think that there is only one company selling this switch on Amazon using multiple names. They all promise to deliver by September 18. I think I'll stop by NAPA and see what they have since I have the specs. 16mm 85C/185F
