Started into my '03 tail conversion on my F1. I didn't get a rear seat with it. What other rear seats are interchangable with this tail? Years, models? 1000rr? etc. It would make my ebay buying options better.

I'm not sure about other models but 03 - 05 600rr should fit.

 

the year sets were 03-04 and 05-06. idk if they are differect, but the placement of the trunk access keyhole changed, so the seat may fit, but the mechanics under it may be different. i guess it doesnt matter if you are not hooking up the trunk access. when i bought mine i didnt look at the years so i dont think it matters, 03-06 600rr should be fine.

 

The original F1 didn't have a trunk, so I wasn't to concerned about making the '03 trunk work. Going for the look. The rear seat is kinda holding me up right now. I thought I read that the 1000rr tails were identical to the 600rrs. So far with a non-bolted on mockup, the tail fits really good. I'm gonna try to combine the original seat for around the tank and the '03 seat for the rear side of the drivers seat. Thanks for the info. guys.

yeah, i know there was no f1 trunk, but since the rr tail has it, why not make it work? that was my thought process, i wanted full functionality with my tail. i had to get a lock and key, and cablefrom honda, but the fender i used from an F4 also has a keyhole on the back, so it worked out nice. im not totally done with it yet though.
