Steering damper
I really want a steering damper for my bike. I had the dreaded "tank slapper" going 75mph down the interstate...I pulled through but I'm not looking foward to that happening again. I ruined a good pair of boxers that day and those aren't cheap. But honestly, there is one on ebay and I asked the seller a couple of questions about it but I just wondering if anyone else has seen one for the old 'Cain. I might just have to make my own mount with a universal kit, but who knows. There's the link;

ask where the triangular plate mounts up to.
this looks to be a side mount unit with the bracket ring attached grabbing the fork tube.
most sidemounts require drilling into the frame to bolt the bracket to.
i have a top mount using a f2 top clamp bracket but had to have a custom side bracket made and the frame rail tapped out to bolt it to.
as for your tankslapper. you need to look at your suspension either front or rear or both. if you get a damper you are merely covering up a problem that you need to get adjusted or fixed. very dangerous. if there is something that isn't working right, the damper is going to be working very hard to keep things in line and that is not good.
you can also get a daytona steering damper. don't remember the site but just google it. fork tube dia is 33mm.
