Default Restoring Fairings

So I was thinking of going the streetfighter route over the winter, but I think I might restore the 'ol girl to her former glory instead (with some upgrades of course.) Unfortunately, the previous owner took the bike up a curb so the bottom portion of one of the side fairings is cracked off.

What are the dimensions of the fairing bolts? I have the ones that fit the inspection cowls, so I just need to know which ones I need to mount the side fairings onto the bike.

And how hard would it be to fabricate the missing parts of the cracked fairing (see photo)? I have a brother who is pretty good with fibreglass. Would that bond well to the OEM plastics?

I have used bondo and fiberglass and had little success. You can find used fairings on ebay or go the airtech way.

I also have a plastics welder at my disposal. I guess I'll just have to go through some trial and error. Anyways, I still needs the bolts either way.

Anyone have the dimensions of the fairing bolts?

For my fairing repairs I have used Bondo's Bumper Repair Epoxy (2 Part) But you will need a piece to use as a filler.

As far as bolt sizes go, I just used Bolts that are slightly smaller than the mounting points with a nut on the backside.
