did they change the fuel lines at the carbs for the 90? mine doesnt look like that at all, it has a tee between the 1/2 carbs and 3/4 carbs and then a seperate tee that connects those two tees, it has nothing between 2 and 3

hm interesting. I have no idea haha i though the carbs were a little bigger on the 90 so i imagine is a possibility. So update i got the carbs off finally. just ordered that fuel t. new problem by bike started burning oil its dripping of the the lowest point of the exhaust so obviously its coming from on the the cylinders. Any idea what that could be? i mean its probably the piston rings but im sure sure how serious this problem is or could become. Insight please

Can you see where it is leaking from? you've also got an external oil cooler that might be the leak, and don't count out the filter leaking - both are off the front side of the motor.

it leaks from where the header meets the extension to the slip on then drips to the lowest point. That is the only place i can find where oil is coming from.

ahh - I thought you meant you had oil leaking onto your exhaust, not out of it. That doesn't sound good - although does the bike smoke any when ridden and are you noticing any real oil consumption between changes?

im just in the process of finishing cleaning the thing up since i bought it. so i have not done any real riding. I just know that it has been running for a month now and ive riden it around the block and such and its been fine, but just a few days ago the oil started dripping, white smoke out of the exhaust, and the smell of burning something. Not exactly sure what though.

o and it only really starts smoking after the engine is warm. If that means anything.

I'm thinking a piston ring then. What grade/brand of oil is in it - might try switching, and even running something like some lucas oil treatment. Stuff did wonders on my wife's 626 with leaky valve seals.
