Default Rear Brake Problem...Help....

Hey,

Recently I have taken my rear caliper off my CBR600F-J and stripped the thread where the pin bolt goes. I am looking for a helicoil kit to do the repair, however, Im struggling to find what size kit to get or how to measure it all up correctly. The only measurement I have managed to find out is the pin bolt is a 12.5 pitch (metric fine thread). Any Ideas or solutions welcome.

Many Thanks

Phil

Whatever tap you are using to reset the hole should match up in thickness to the bolt, as well as you should be able to slide the threads from the tap between the threads from the bolt. Your helicoil kit should come with proper directions on which size coil to use.
