Radial Tires
Well i decided to go with a radial tire because i dont like how bias plys take so long to warm up. I went with a 150/70/17 rear tire and a 110/70/17 front tire. In the 200+ miles i have rode on these tires i have not seen one ill effect. The only thing that i have run into is how can you fit a 160 rear tire on this bike and not have any ill effects? The chain spacing is about a quarter of an inch between the tire and chain i dont see how you could fit a 160 rear tire on there and it be safe. Other than that there was no mounting issues with running a 150 radial on this rim or any other effects. The bike handles so much better since i swapped to a radial tire (plus new rubbers helps alot also) but i wanted to let you know that is runs and handles so nice
the biggest that you should be trying to put on there is a 150, otherwise you will ruin the tire crown. i just went with the stock 130, honda put a 130 on it for a reason. biggest i would probably use is a 140.
i went with contintial contiforce tires in the front and rear and i love them so far. warm up is so quick. i think ill go with the contisports next go around uber sticky and should be a blast!
