There's a whole heap of possibilities - here's an extract from the manualat CBRExtreme.com. If that doesn't work, there's more in the manual.

I have a similar problem as yours and am trying to figure it out. Mine bogs mostly when I try to really open the throttle and does it especially while on the highway at around 70mph. It seems that I'm running too rich and while I have yet to adjust the pilot screws, I believe the real issue may be with the main jets. I may need to go down a size but have yet to find the time and get into it.

I'm kinda new to motorbikes. But I was thinking it might be your Carbs are out of synchronizing? There is 2 pilot screws on them that you have to adjust for them to work proply with each other. And I've been told theres a sync tool you can buy to help you set them. Otherwise you need a tachometer
lol thanks guys havnt been able to work on it recently laid it down badly so in the process of getting new plastics. but i took it to a shop and they said it may be the carbs were not cleaned right. does that seem like a possible solution?
Since I last posted in this thread, I did a number of things that sorted most of my problems out:
- Took the carbs apart and re-cleaned everything carefully
- In the process, discovered I have 102 main jets (will upgrade eventually)
- Covered the brass tubes next to the intake boots as described in this thread
- Re-adjusted the pilot screws
- Put some seafoam in the tank and in the crankcase (not much)
- Covered half of each one of the two intake holes on the frame (to avoid a lean condition at highway speed - my intake holes on the front fairing are 'oversized')
I am amazed at how good she runs now. There's still a VERY slight hesitation around 6-7k rpm in high gears when at WOT but nothing to go crazy about. Otherwise, she revs right up to redline and even scares me in the process
. Can't wait to see result once I put larger jets in.
