hurricane frames were ALWAYS silver in the US.

 

See I asked that question 2 weeks ago and got that all us bikes were black... I have a black 1000 frame sitting in front of me right now. It needs to be painted and I am hoping to figure out what color is age appropriate for this bike. It's a 1987 Honda cbr1000f hurricane...

 

the 1000 may have been black. I've never seen a black 600 frame though, unless it was painted. my cousin's 87 was silver, my 87 was silver, and my 90 I have now is also um..... what color is it? oh yeah! SILVER!

just tryin to make a little humor here, but seriously, the 1000 may have had different colors, I cant say as I've never owned one.

I hear that, I'm looking at doing paint on my 90, and making her GORGEOUS again, like she should be. I love my old girl, even though she's not perfect. an original paintjob would just make her 100% stunning.

when I finish her, I'll post photos. I have a few of her now, she's a pretty girl, but not GORGEOUS yet.
