Default Moaning about stuff.

Why have I purchased a bike which is so difficult to work on? First you have to remove all the plastic which takes about two hours drop the bloody screwdriver in your coffee landlady moans about the mess grazed knuckles.
Even looking at the plugs is a life changing trauma and once you get all the plastic off it rains like hell no garage 'cos I went to Africa and gave it all up, opened the socket set upside down and they all fell out and now my knee has siezed up.
Then it snowed.

Have a nice day.

Well............you will go and live on Mars

In time, removing fairings will be a three minute job, you'll know not only which way is up with your socket set, but which bolts are which size and instictively reach for the right tool.

It does get easier, so hang in there.

Oh! And find a mate with a garage

Here's some music to listen to whilst you work...........

Cheers, SB

The Vikings used to bless their ships with blood to make sure they looked after their crews. Skinned knuckles on a project? Just tripping over an old tradition mate.

If you've bled on her - she owes you. :-)

Default Cheers

Thanks for the tunes. Everybody says listen out for the camchain at 5,000 revs but I have a straight thru can and at those revs I can,t hear much. A rattle or slight knock appears when the engine is warm though, is that it? It sounds like piston slap to me but what do I know? Bikes got 46,000 on it and I don,t think it was well looked after.
Sorry to hear about the dog bite by the way.
