from what i have heard sate farm is about the best to go through because they don't go buy sprots bike or cruser. they just go buy the cc's of the bike. but i have pogressive and i am 23 and i'm paying $393 a year for plpd
i have my insurance through a broker, http://www.buymotorcycleinsurance.com, i get mine for $443/year for full coverage-thats $37/month. they did quote me $74/mo for a GSXR600, BTW i am 20.
I hired a kid that is twenty one, he pays 2200.00 a year for full coverage on his gsxr 600. On my hurricane I pay 160.00 a year, but I'm also thirty years old and married with two kids. The twenty one year old compared the gsxr to a katana 600 on the web and the katana was 1400.00 cheaper a year.

from what i have learned from shopping around is that some places will just give you an outrageous price and if someone says ok, then ok they will pay an outrageous price. sometimes if you tell them no, they will go lower just like a car dealership. there is a premium and then there is the price they give you, everything in between is bonus for them. also like i said i highly recommend going to http://www.buymotorcycleinsurance.com they have extremely low prices. my quotes from big companies like progressive and allstate were like $10,000/year, thats like $900/month, hell no im not paying that. i now have full coverage for $37/month.
