are the instrument gauges interchangeble like the fairings for the f1? sorry if i am asking a lot of newb questions, I just want to be informed opn the bike im looking at buying, and i want to assess how much id have to put into it

 

the cluster will fit, but i am not sure about the electrical plugs. you'd have to look at a wiring schematic to find out if the plugs are running the same amount of pinouts as the f1 wiring harness.

 

This might be stupid but it looks like the gauges are mounted in the same fashion as my 89 Wrangler, why couldnt we get aftermarket "Autometer" gauges?

 

You can if you want to deal with it. The speedo is mechanical btw.
