Hurricane wont idle on its own gas supply
What I have found through my time here on then forum is that it is getting harder to find mechanic that how to work on carbs. If you take into account most newer bikes are EFI and the workforce is younger folks who didn’t grow up working on carb banks, it stands to reason most shops are going to be lean in that knowledge area.
If you don’t do the work yourself, you pretty much need to find a specialty shop.

That’s odd. I’ve never seen one that pumped too much volume, let alone by a x4 factor.
Are you positive you have the correct pump?
Wether it will be good for the bike in the long rrun, I can’t say.

its a quantum pump, maybe i am doing the test wrong? I turn the key for 5 seconds and it produces 200 ml each time I do it
what's the best way to clean a tank? It dosent have rust but a bunch of black stuff is coming out of it
The black stuff could be tank liner, which means your liner is breaking down. In which case you probably want to do a further clean. There are kits that supply a cleaner (some kind of acid, I think) and a re-sealer. They aren't expensive.
Kerosene is a good option. Seal the tank, dump in a quart or so, and sloosh around (technincal term). Empty, repeat. Rinse with some gas and hopefully it comes out clean.
