Default Hurricane no oil pressure

Got the bike running and oil pressure light stays on. Mechanic said it was a faulty switch but i have replaced the switch 4 times and it still comes on, had him test the oil pressure and he found 60 psi when it was at the shop, I tested the oil pressure and find 0. Im unsure if I did the test wrong but I did test the 4 oil pressure sensors and found that they all seem to work well. What could my issue possibly be?

The obvious possibilities are a lack of oil, a blocked oil filter (pre or post pump), a blocked feed to the sensor or a snapped pump drive. If you’ve checked those then we’ll have to think further.

If he says 60 and you say 0, I'd double check how you are testing the oil pressure. Maybe you are testing two different things.

If you take the oil filter off and run it, does oil pour out? That might indicate actual pressure.

turns out there are 2 different kinds of testers and i have the wrong one. I did loosen the oil filter while it was running to burp it and a big puddle of oil came out, i have since installed a new oem sensor and have yet to test it since I am waiting on parts for my carbs. I have had it running for 3 hours running and riding so if it did not have oil pressure it would have blew by now.

I think I have found my issue, I dropped the pan and noticed chunks of metal and I thought the oil pump exploded so I went to remove the clutch to gain access to it and it was quite stuck and after some work it came loose and revealed the drive shift sproket that sits behind the clutch completely destroyed its self, I have no idea how this happened but is this normal?

is it normal for the drive socket to be destroyed? Is this really your question?

I guess my question would be is this a normal fault point?

Lol that makes more sense - I've been reading this forum for a few years now and I can't recall anyone else having your problem - CBR600 engines are renowned for being mostly bulletproof.
