I used the manual on here for trouble shooting, chap 18. Everything passed but the secondary on the coils. I took the spark plug wires off for the test.. Bought a set of coils off eBay last night. And for testing I have a fluke T5-600, not many settings. It automaticly chooses, hope it's good enough..... But how do both coils go? Should I buy a lottery ticket? Lol

it is odd for both coils to go bad, hope the coils didn't cost too much, usualy they last longer than the rest of the bike will.
once you get them installed, let us know what happens

Yes it is odd for both coils to go at once, BUT I have also seen both headlights go on a car at the same time and be imporperly diagnosed as a bad low beam switch when all t needed was 2 lights. ANYWAYS Back on track, trust the diagnosis, get some coils and see what happens.

possibly, go through the procedures to check the regulator and associated wiring.
these bikes are known to fry the wire connector for it.
