Hi,

I think I just ruined my gas tank and I wanted to pass this along. I bought the bike 4 years ago and life happend and it sat in my dad's garage for that time. I finally got back to it and the tank was pretty bad.

I decided to power spray some of the worst rust off and now there is a large part that is loose inside, I have no idea what it is but it is too large to come out of the top hole.

Now I need a new tank.

So, anyone have any idea what this is?

Or have a tank for sale?

can you describe in more detail what this partlooks like? flat? round? long? stubby? is it rusted?
