I have heard that F2 and maybe even F3 tanks may fit, the mounting is of course similar, but tank shape may slightly differ. However, I don't know for sure, just hearsay.

Keep in mind, I don't know if the spacing is different or not. Like, one tank could be longer than the other.

any cbr tank that you make to flip up will leak because of the way the tank vents. there is the top vent and a bottom vent. the tank will not leak if it is half full or less or depending on how much of an angle the tank is tilted at.

f2/f3 tank spacing is going to be close fore and aft. side to side measurement is almost the same.
keep in mind that gas caps are different. so you may need to rekey the cap.

if you want the tank to flip up, make the tank half full and tilt the tank till it starts to leak. that will give you an idea of how far you can flip up. at 45 degrees it should be okay.
