Hello I need to buy a fuel pump for an 89 600. Any ideas on where?

I saw Bikebandit.com has an aftermarket section, but which pump ? it is all in liters/hr. which one is the right one?

 

the manual says the pump should produce 650cc per minute.
works out to 39000cc per hour, or 39 liter/hr.
make sure you get a pump for carbs, not FI

 

BikeBandit sells a 35liter/hr vacuum pump - no good.

Anyone have a workin fuel pump to sell ?

 

Dunno if it the 600F's fuel pump is similar to the F3's but IDoDirt wrote up a great How To on basically rebuilding your fuel pump.

Another place is Ebay. I couldn't wait so i went to a local (non-dealer) shop and they have several laying about

 

napa sells a 3-5 psi carburator fuel pump for about 58-62 dollars. works great and fits almost perfect with a bit of trimming. be careful some are 9-11psi and those will over flow the carbs. trust me i've been runnign mine about 3weeks now no problems. even starts better.
