Default Front fork upgrade

Hi guys are there any options to upgrade front forks from these air ones? I think I've overinflated mine and according to the manual that means I've probably broken them, rather than faffing about with these can I get something modern? If I'm not mistaken they're an odd size?

Any advice is appreciated, I'm an engineering student so if I need to have some bits made that's no biggie but I have no clue about bikes.

Install the RaceTech gold-valve emulators.

The worst you will have done is blown the seals (there's an old joke in there ). Quick, cheap and easy to fix.

You can change the forks to a later CBR600 but you need a complete front-end including yokes (american: triple-tree), wheel, axle, brakes, discs, handlebars. Doable but a lot of trouble unless you have a donor bike. IMO the original forks are good enough and I wouldn't bother changing them unless yours are damaged or badly worn. And even then I'd probably try to find some good used ones from a breaker. As they say, if you want an RR, buy an RR (they are bloody brilliant ).
