Fork fluid bleeder screw stripped
Hey guys, another new guy. Seems every post if from someone new ;-)
Ive been rebuilding my bike for a few weeks now. It ran great when i got it, so really just cleaning and doing maintence stuff. The Fluid in the front forks was the nastiest fluid ive ever seen. So i drained the Right side no problem, and i went to drain the left, and my allen wrench stripped out the bleeder screw in the fork.
Im brand new to bikes, but while working on this one sometimes i just ask myself why someone would use the fasteners they did.....just use a bolt for everything!
ANyway how do I get it out?
And also, ive been trying to bleed the front brakes for a few days now. I loosen the bleeder, squeeze the handbrake, nothing. Tighten the screw let it up. Loosen screw press the handbrake....nothing...maybe a tiny tiny bit.
Why isent my fluid pouring out? Do i need to adjust my handbrake to create more pressure in the line maybe?

For the bleeder, an extracter set MAY work or it MAY NOT work depending how tight it is.
As far as the front brake, you have to pump the hand lever first and hold it before cracking the bleeder screw.
