It seems that I just purchased my second Hurricane (my wife is gonna be thrilled). The first was an '88 600 I bought new and now this:

I'm already restoring an '89 ZXR-750, but I couldn't resist what seems like a clean find!

 

WOW. I want those plastics in that exact color for mine. nice find and welcome to our little corner of the world.

 

I saw that bike on ebay. Really low mileage..no stripes on the lowers. The plastic sure looked in good shape.
That is the color scheme I wanted back in 1987...

 

Hehe. Great buy that, for a lot of bike. Looks good. How many miles. That's even better.

 

Will having no title be a problem in your state?

 

I'm hoping it won't be a huge issue. I have a couple of ideas on rectifying that problem.

 

WOW great bike. How does it run?

 

It runs great now, slow jets were gummed up, and carbs needed synching. Should have the title issue straightened out Friday and will be looking into getting the stripes redone on Saturday. I'll get more pics when it's done.

 

Got the title, got the tags! Rode it about 5 miles yesterday, rear brake is dragging...then it's not. Gotta look into that, but it runs great!
