MR RAS 122, I am building a 88 hurricane and was wondering what year is the 600rr body and if you used the stock fairing stay from the hurricane or from the donor bike, are u putting a underseat exhaust inthe bike.Great Job on paying attention to detail.

I dont know which fronts he used, but I believe he used 03-04 tail, and the modified the stock upper on the hurricane to work.

When I was looking on Ebay for bodywork, the kits looked like they came with a shell that fit over the gas tank to make it look like the rest of the body work. Like the one in this link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...15622&rd=1

In the larger pics of the tank on this link you can see straight through the gas cap hole. So I kinda figured he had bought one of these kits and then made the cover fit over the original tank, but I'm new to all this so I could very well be wrong. Seems like a good way to go though. I wish he'd write a huge 'How To' article for us that would be awesome.

Oh, those things, yeah, but no, no kit was used. He told me it was the original tank and he used bondo to fill the tank crevices by the seat.

sorry reborn this old topic but I can't find any information about the bottom right fairing:

In compare they are the same, how??????

This is the original fairing but cutted and adapted? Or is another bike fairing?
I want convert my hurricane but I can't find this fairing, so I think it's a original fairing but cutted? I'm right?
