Hey guys, heres my '89.

Not running right now. Changed the plugs, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter so far. The old fuel filter was baaaaad. Kid before me only rode it a couple times when he had it and I'm afraid it was pretty neglected

Did all that and tried to crank it...still wouldn't start. Got a little frustrated and started reading my manual, that's when I saw the kick stand safety feature. Whoops!! Haven't had a chance to try it again since I live about an hour away from where the bike is, but I've got a new battery waiting to go in and after that *hopefully* we'll get her running

So far my ideas:

Dominator dual 3.5" headlights
Underbelly (from a Hornet possibly?)
Front mudguard from Hornet
'99 CBR600 tail fairings
F4 tail light (although I like the idea of just two little round brakelights instead, and matching round turn signals right next to the brakelights so it would be just like this 'OOOO')
Oh, and a tachometer!!!

Yes it was rattle canned with house of kolor tangerine they come in little spray bottles, super expensive though... 14 bucks a can or something. I used about 3-4 cans of that and used some clear i had the shop mix up for me and put into a can, but it was less than easy and very time consuming with all the bodywork just to get to the paint.

and while im in my photo album i found a picture of how i did my taillights. I was at advance auto and in the ricer section they had these weatherproof led bulbs that have 6 leds in each one and as you can see I have 3 the top two are for braking and the bottom one is my running light, and i have 2 white leds mounted under the seat for the licence plate. I have the turn signals to the side/bottom. I don't like the turn signals for a few reasons, for looks and because they keep burning out but I can live with it for now!
