Default exhaust question...

A friend gave me a stock exhaust off of a '06 R6 Raven...it looks much better than my current exhaust and I was wondering if I would have to rejet if I had this fitted and modded and installed.....I believe the piping on the r6 pipe is a bit bigger (i'd check for sure if it wasn't POURING, seriously gonna have to clean out my flooded basement in the morning), the canister is a bit longer..I know I'll have to modify the mounting bracket, the one on the r6 is towards the front of the bike, the stock towards the back.....any thoughts?

Welll..it WILL fit, BUT there was a flat spot from about 3k-4k....so I'm gonna assume I'd have to rejet for it to work, it fit almost perfectly, had to make a little piece of flat iron to mount to the stock mount to the new muffler (new muffler was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches farther back), but other than that it was pretty much bolt on.

After starting the bike and leaving almost immediately the other morning the stock pipe felt the same, so I put the R6 pipe back on and warmed it up and took it for a ride...not as much midrange power as the stock, but it feels smoother and more power all the way through now, here's a pic:

ignore the duct tape, the tab I fixed broke and fell off while going down the highway, so both sides are held up by tape now, since this is no beauty queen anyway I really don't mind, form over function for now....

I would shorten it about 6 inches.

Then see if you need to rejet.
