Default Evap hose leak

Here is the deal, my fuel pump blew out last week. After finding a replacement now, everytime I start her up I have gas leaking out of the evap hoses on my carbs... how do I go about fixing this?

Exact replacement? Fuel overflow is usually because the float needle valves get stuck. Drop the carbs and make sure they aren't hanging up.

The floats might just need adjusting if they arent sticking. Too high of fuel pressure can also cause it

I've had the float pins stick on me right after a carb clean. Thats still my thought.

Alternatively, what did the pump come off of? They are just a low pressure pump(~7psi IIRC) which has a relay that shuts it off. Maybe the relay isn't kicking in?

originally I used the 82 honda accord fuel pump, and had fuel leaking from the evap system alot. I figuered that the pressure was too high.
So i bought an F4 fuel pump, same problem.

I have had a float stick open twice now and it never drained from the evap system, just from directly ontop of the bowl.

About the relay, i thought that they gave the fuel pump power, not shut it off. The pump is pumping with no issue, limited ticks, not a constant clicking

Sorry for the double post.
I was about done with trying to get the fuel pump to work. I decided to just go gravity fed as I have not ridden the beast for the last 3 weeks ( going from everyday, rain or shine) I went to make sure my oil was topped off (as she tends to burn alittle oil) and to my surprise the crankcase was absolutely full. If she wasn't leaning on the kickstand and I were to have taken the dipstick out there would have been fluid everywhere.

I say fluid and not oil because as I stuck my finger in (smell test) it came out relatively clean, well atleast not oily, but very gassy. She was filled to the brim with gasoline! good god i'm glad I checked before I took off

Wow that could have been nasty, must have put a good amount of fuel into the oil.
I have a kwaka er5 that i used to use for committing and that had done some thing similar when i got it.

Hopefully it didnt damage the rod and main bearings. I had to rebuild a ford 351 windsor once because of a sticking electric fuel pump relay and the crankcase filling with fuel. It wiped the bearings out
