coolant leak from lower left hose.

coolant leak from lower left hose.
Hello all.
Picked up an 01 600 f4I.
Bike currently leaks coolant at the junction of the lower left(when sitting on the bike) radiator hose and radiator. I've tightened the clamp down and it's still leaking. It is very visibly leaking between the hose and the radiator, not from any visible cracks.
The hose has a few white fibers sticking out of the end, but I can't see any cracks.
Anything else I should do before I head to the dealership and just buy a new hose?

is the clamp thats on that junction tight enough? might want to try a new worm gear clamp to see if its not tight enough. Or maybe its leaking because theres a clog in your radiator and the coolant has no where else to go? I dont know about the second idea, i havent a clue which direction the coolant flows, but it seems logical to me.
def try tightening the clamp or getting a new one before u shell out the probably $40-$80 for a friggen hose...lol

I think the coolant enters the radiator through the top right hose, then flows through and drains down through the bottom left hose back to the coolant pump.
I tried another clamp from the garage, no dice, although when I tightened it I could see the cracks that the coolant was leaking from. Time to replace the hose. The part from the dealership is only 20$, so not a huge loss.
Thanks all.
