my bike is a 89 i also have a 88 but 89 makes more power

For the 1989 model year the hugely successful CBR600 got upgraded with minor tweeks. It looked the same jelly mould bike but underneath it got higher compression (11.3:1, up from 11:1), the cam timing was revised, bigger carbs fitted, new ignition and a beefed up clutch. It also got adjustable rebound damping. Power was increased from 85Bhp to 93Bhp

im going to re dyno it soon and will post the results.
just finished stretching it 6in. tonight
will have the f2 rear rim swap done tommorow and also stretching the 88 tommorow.

The 90 CBR had 93BHP yes, but for you to gain 35 HP a 38% increase in horsepower, on a stock engine is IMPOSSIBLE. You can't even do that on a V8 Engine, Let alone on a restrictive, outdated honda motorcycle. I call BS. either that or wherever youre getting youre bike dyno's needs to be calibrated BAD!

i second that, those numbers are unheard of just because the 90 had 8 more horsepower doesnt mean you can gain that much..

like i said, schnannigans unless pics, vids.. ample proof. because if you did that on an old honda engine you are like tuning jesus or something
