alright first is does anyone know where i can buy just adjustable needles for the carbs?

second question is has anyone put a f2 or f3 swingarm on the hurricane and what modifications had to be done. because if it would work i would want a f2 swingarm and rim to get a 160 rear tire.

what other things can you do to these to make them faster?

how much hp can the stock motor take also?

you need to get the dynajet kit to get the adjustable needle
you'll have to DIY for swingarm swaps, no known write ups
taller gearing will make it faster, maybe

 

You can get adjustable needles from Dynojet Kits, or Factory Pro Kits.

If you want more snap off the line go with a -1 Front / +2 Rear Setup for sprockets

Im not sure what you're asking when you ask how much the engine can take for HP, I assume you mean how much can you push through it before you bend a rod or blow out a piston....well, im just going o say, with the stock head, you will most likely NEVER have enough HP to break something due to HP. You'd be hard pressed to get these old engines over 100HP

im going to be drag racing it. i borrowed my buddies adjustable needles and tuned and then dyno tuned it and it was 128hp at the wheel. im in the process of stretching the swingarm 6" and also if it gets traction the front wheel is in the air if not it spins the **** out of the tire. but looking to make this the fastest hurricane with stock engine but other mods.

holy sh*t 128 HP? im pretty new to the CBR world but these motors only make 85hp stock IIRC.. so either you are VERY heavily modified or i think i have to call shenannigans!
