choke not working

Default choke not working

when i open the choke all the way . it dosent throttle up right away or increase when opening .

I would check that the cable hasn't broken. See if you can see the choke arm moving or the valve assembly moving when you move the choke lever. If you look in the manual you can see how it all goes together.

it also possible that the choke cable has slid or come free from the little bracket where it bolts to the top of the carbs. If that little screw came loose, then the cable won't operate right.

i checked the arm and cable and there both working

sometimes, ill have to rev my bike a little to get it to hold a higher rpm with the choke on.
check to make sure the chokes on each carb are actualy opening. that arm is connected to a rod. each carb is connected to the rod with a set screw. if the screws are loose, the whole rod and arm can move normaly without actualy opening the chokes.
how does it run otherwise? time for a carb cleaning?

i had to tap small threaded holes and put a screw to keep my rod working properly. it wasnt engaging the choke on each carb without them, it did just as you speak of.
