Default Choke not releasing after working on carbs??

I just took my carbs out to rejet them. After installing everything back in, i noticed that my choke cable does not release. Is there something that i forgot to do when putting everything back together. The only thing i did was rout the choke cable to the carbs and connect. Im not sure if theres something im forgetting?? it worked perfect before i took the carbs out of the bike. The only thing i did to the carbs was replace the main jets.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! thanks!

try doing it by hand on the carbs themselves and see if it is the cable or the slides themselves. you didn't use a tool to pry the carbs off that may have been on the slides have you? it has been done before! but see if it is on the carb or the cable, maybe it is time to replace cable.
