I have what I think is the first generation of the cbr 600 Hurricane, i received this bike in pieces and have gotten them back together some what. The couple things it obviously needs are a tank and a header. The tank I figure can be just about any year carburetor style and that will do. As far as the header goes I am understanding that the f1 along with f2 have similar but different exhaust than the hurricane? I was wondering if issue was spacing or tube size or bends in exhaust?

The spacing of the pipes are different. F2 headers won't fit. The tanks are also different between generations, while you might get them to fit they won't look right.
