I had posted earlier about the 90 hurricane and getting the 87 engine. We are new to sports bikes, so we were wondering that since we still have the carbs to the 90 engine, and that they are bigger than the carbs that went with the 87 engine, if we could swap them without any issues and get more power.

 

You CAN use the 90 carbs, it's hard to say if you will get an appreciable difference in performance. If there's any difference, it will be pretty small, but might as well go for it!
