carb problem help ASAP

check the boots sounds like an vaccum leak.

wow, can't believe that you said that because i just relized that i left out the huge spring that holds one of the boots down. I just went out and replced it but the idle didnt come down

I suspect you still have an intake issue of some variety. are the manifolds fastened to the heads tightly?

still nothing i am sort of stumped. i now have adjusted my float height and i am stumped. i am wondering why this thing would run fine before this.

well, i pulled the carb for the billionth time and found that my throttle plates were missalligned. I have done carberator work in the past but have not had to actually pull the carb apart from eachother before so the whole sync them together thing is kind of new to me. anyways thanks for the help i should be good to go now
