Carb differences?
Good point, but for the rest of us in civilization here, and particularly those of us in the very warm areas of the world, 5w30 is way light. I prefer my 10W40 whereever possible. my "family car" kinda requires 20W50 due to the extremity of wear to the engine. damn korean pos.
but I can see where thin oils have SOME use, but really I cant see anyone in FL ever needing a 30wt or 0W30(yes it does exist) oil for ANYTHING in this hot as hell state.

no god no, down there i wouldnt run less than 10w30 regardless of what the recommended grade is. lol but up here in good ol canada it was 41*f in nb today, and we get muuuuuuuuch colder. so i usually run 5w30 in jan. but anyway lol.
