if you really want to spend money get yourself some Royal Purple Max Cycle, or you could just go with a honda synthetic.

Ended up putting GN4 in it. Thats what the dealer recommended in it. Not very expensive compared to Yamalube. Got to looking in the manual and it says check the slide adjustment on the cable. Maybe its choking the engine too much?

On the topic of synthetic oil, I run 5W40 Rotella T full synthetic in mine. no issues, actually feels stronger, and only costs $22 a gallon.

I see. I was also wondering what mods are available, I can't seem to find much besides a aftermarket exhaust system.

I havent seen much else. I personally want to see how much work fitting an F4i motor to the Hurricane would be.

i believe f4 motor is leaned more forward...... As far as mods go, Just look at my signature, and that about sums them up, unless you get into custom pistons and cams, Head work.

I won't use synthetic in older cars etc, cause I hear it cleans the gunk in the seals making them leak.

What if I use regular castrol full synthetic in a newer 2001 4stroke DOCHmotorcycle? The oil is not specifically made for motorcycles but rather automobiles in general, got from automotive store at 6 dollarsa bottle.

As long as it isn't a 5W-30. Other then that, you will be fine.

5w30 is too light for ANYTHING IMO. 10W30 is more acceptable, 10w40 is more appropriate for my motors, regardless what they are.
