Hello,

I just got my first "big" bike (F1 1988) and absolutely love it apart from one annoying problem. Almost every time when I start the engine it cuts off within 5 minutes. When I crank it again it starts (sometimes abit difficult), runs for few seconds (to a minute at max) and cuts off again. It does this 2-4 times and then it hasn't got any problems with hours of riding. But it all starts again when I turn the engine off and start again (even if the engine is hot already).

By the way when I said cuts off it does it without anycoughing or anything like this but just dies like someone hit the stop switch and the rev meter goes straight to 0 rpm even when on gear.

Does anyone has an idea what could cause this problem?
